What's Open, What's Closed on Memorial Day

Today is an official federal holiday, and the unofficial start to summer. But most importantly, it is a day to commemorate U.S. service members who died while in the military service.

Monday, May 30 is Memorial Day.

Parade information is as follows: The Farmington parade step off is at 10:30 a.m., ending at the gazebo at Alice Clover Pinney Park and the Farmington parade step off is at 8:30 a.m., ending in the Riverside Cemetery.

Most state and local government offices are closed and mail will not be delivered. Some businesses are open.

  • Banks: most are closed

  • State courts: closed
