A Cappella Auditions

Attention Female Vocalists!

Are you a singer looking for an exciting new venture?

Hi! We're three friends who have come together to form The Vinyls, an all female a cappella group based in the Farmington Valley. This October, we're holding auditions for the founding members of this new project in a cappella.

We're looking for at least three powerhouse female vocalists to join The Vinyls. All voice parts are encouraged to audition, and vocal percussionists are welcomed as well. 

All you need to prepare is a short vocal selection to sing a cappella - we recommend a verse and chorus of a song that shows off your vocal prowess! Your audition will also include sight reading, tonal memory, and vocal exercises. 

Auditions will be on Sunday, October 20th from 7:00-9:00, in ten minute intervals. To sign up for an audition time, email us at thevinylsct@gmail.com. Your only requirements are to be a female and to not be a member of another a cappella group as of January 2014. To keep up to date with audition information, you can check out our Facebook event.
