Beauty of Bach Organ Concert

On Sunday, October 27, the Farmington Libraries will sponsor an organ concert at First Church of Christ, Congregational, 1652 located at 75 Main Street, Farmington, CT. This event will take place at 4:00 p.m. and will feature organist Edward Clark.

Johann Sebastian Bach's compositions include the Brandenburg Concertos, the Mass in B minor, his cantatas, chorales, partitas, Passions, and organ works. His music is revered for its intellectual depth, technical command, and artistic beauty. Organist Edward Clark has selected pieces from Bach's vast repertoire that will take advantage of the church's acoustics and highlight the rich texture of the music.

Advanced registration is required for the program. Please register in advance by calling the library at 860-673-6791 or using this link. For more information, please visit the library’s web site at http://www.farmingtonlibraries.org.
