Better Health: Everyone's Responsibility Conference

Are you concerned about your health care, the complex health care system, and rising health care costs? Want to learn more about how you can be a voice in fixing our nation’s health care system? Gain valuable insight to these questions and more by attending Connecticut’s first patient engagement conference, Better Health: Everyone’s Responsibility at the CT Convention Center on September 17, 2013.

This one-day conference will bring consumers and health care providers together for a unique event to learn the most up-to-date information from leading health experts. The conference will feature renowned patient engagement advocate “e-Patient Dave” as the keynote speaker, as well as a healthcare futurist who will discuss new directions for the industry during a dinner session. In addition, a variety of breakout sessions will be offered to empower you to make meaningful decisions that will affect your healthy future.  Breakout session topics include: managing your health care, planning for the future, how to effectively communicate with your providers, the importance of managing your medications, the emerging Patient-Centered model of care, and how the Affordable Care Act will affect you.

Attendees will have multiple opportunities throughout the day to network with speakers and other conference attendees, as well as sponsors and exhibitors who are at the forefront of helping to improve healthcare.

Registration is $10 and includes free parking at the Convention Center. Dinner is an additional $25 per person.  For more information and to register online, please visitwww.ctpartnersforhealth.org
