CRAZY WHIST CARD PARTY

Looking for a little fun after the holidays?  The GFWC/Farmington Valley Woman's Club will hold their annual crazy whist card party on Friday, January 10, with a snow date of Friday, January 17.  This year's event will be held at the Farmington Senior/Community Center located at 321 New Britain Avenue in Farmington.  The doors will open at 6:30 pm and the games will begin at 7:00 pm.  Throughout the games, door prizes will be awarded and optional raffle tickets will be sold for a gift basket to be raffled at the end of the evening.  Refreshments will be served when the games are over.  This event is open to the public (men and women).  No need to know how to play cards to play this game!  There are 16 rounds or hands played, and the rules change with every hand.  Prizes are awarded for the lowest and highest scores at the end.  The cost for the entire evening is only a $7.00 donation and the proceeds will benefit community programs.  Tickets will be available at the door.  Please join the GFWC/Farmington Valley Woman's Club for a relaxing and fun evening.
