Flatbread Company Benefit Dinner

On Wednesday, January 23, 2013 Flatbread Company of Canton, Connecticut (located at the Shoppes at Farmington Valley) will be holding a benefit dinner for Penguin Plunge of Farmington, which is on January 27, 2013, which directly supports the Special Olympics of Connecticut.


For every large pizza purchased flatbread will donate $3.50, and for every small pizza purchased they will donate $1.75 to Special Olympics of Connecticut which is a non profit organization that provides year round athletic training for children and adults with disabilities. There will also be a teacup raffle featuring giftcards and much more!  Stop by to show your support, grab a bite to eat, and have a good time.  All proceeds will go to Special Olympics.


At this point, the event is being organized by Jolie LiBert, Julia Brignano, Monique Beaupre, Erika Van Buren, Grace Ott, Madison Liistro, Paige Hughes, Olivia Zachs, Caroline Arnett, Mollie Fierston, Mia Catillo, Aleks Jalinskas, and Alex Austin. Penguin Plunge is a fundraiser for the Special Olympics of Connecticut in which, participants jump into ice-cold water at Dunning Lake located at Winding Trails in Farmington, Connecticut.  This event will take place on January 27, 2013.  Again, all proceeds go to Special Olympics of Connecticut.
