Jon England splays his Velvety, dextrous and masterful hands across the keyboard of Simsbury Public Library's beautiful Grand Piano on Sunday 28th October and launches his new double CD album entitled "Classically Inspired" to a limited-seating event commencing at 2 p.m.

Classical?... yes, Inspired? ... well, while not precisely note-for-note renditions of the composers originals (Mozart, Beethoven, Rachmaninov, Chopin, Debussy among others), Jon - known as the "Velvet Piano" player - also includes an occasional original composition along with lesser known but equally beautiful Classically-styled gems in this wide-ranging presentation which will - as is his style - likely include every single note of the piano... 'though not at the same time!

The first half of the Concert (with tasty refreshments kindly provided by Library volunteers) will showcase the new album while Jon will open the second half for audience's special requests.

A more conservative yet differently enjoyable presentation than Jon's First Church debut in May... "Classically Inspired" will delight piano afficionados, children, young-at-heart and all others in-between, who have an ear for beautiful melody and relaxing mastery of the piano.

Jon will be on hand to sign albums at the conclusion of the event and may well spin a few stories of his world-wide travels aboard some of the more luxurious Cruise Liners upon which it's been his privilege to travel throughout the years.  www.jonengland.com
