Farmington Solar Home Tour: Residents Can Hear First Hand about Neighbors’ Solar Experience

WHAT: Solar Open House Tour for Solarize Farmington Program
WHERE: Solar Homes in Farmington
WHEN: Saturday, July 26, 2014, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The Town of Farmington is hosting a solar open house home tour on Saturday July 26, 2014 from 9 a.m. - 1p.m. The Tour is part of the Solarize Farmington campaign, a unique program working to offer residents significantly discounted solar installations that will reduce monthly utility bills.

Residents can visit homes with solar power and learn first hand what their neighbors have to say about their solar experience. Information will be given about the Solarize Farmington program, making solar easy and affordable. The following homes will be on the Solar Tour.

1. 3 Deborah Lane, Farmington
2. 17 Metacomet Road, Farmington
3. 10 Judson Lane, Farmington

The Town of Farmington was selected through a competitive process to participate in Solarize Connecticut; a State-sponsored program through Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority that combines coordinated town education and outreach efforts with a tiered pricing offer from the towns’ pre-selected installer, All Green It Solar, to significantly increase residential solar. The more residents participate in the program, the more the price drops, with all residents receiving the lowest possible price for their installation no matter when they sign up for the program.  However, residents must sign a contract by October 7, 2014.

For more information about the program, or to sign up for a free, no obligation, site evaluation residents can visit www.solarizect.com/Farmington  or contact All Green It Solar at 866.251.7854 or www.allgreenit.com.
