Historic One-Room Schoolhouses: A Bus Tour

Visit five historic one-room schoolhouses in the scenic
Farmington Valley on this fun and informative bus tour, hearing expert
commentary at each site. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at Good Life Grill, Granby, and
try one of over 50 ice cream flavors at Tulmeadow Farm at the end of the tour.

Admission is $40 per person and includes bus tour, lunch,
and optional attendance to a pre-tour lecture with Michael Day, retired elementary school teacher, former college
instructor and curator of The Barkhamsted Historical Society’s One Room
Schoolhouse (lecture takes place on April 24, 7 pm, at the Ellsworth Center,
Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, and is $5 without the bus tour).
