Lunchtime Lecture: The Farmington Slavery Project
Stanley-Whitman has been researching and documenting enslaved people who lived in Farmington during the 17th to mid-19th centuries. A team of staff, interns and volunteers have combed probate inventories, wills, account books, and a variety of primary documents to locate these forgotten people. Join us for one-year anniversary update on the project and find out what our team has uncovered to date.
Bring a sandwich and the museum will have dessert and beverage on hand.
Admission is $3 a person.
