Make a Difference by Volunteering!

Since 1908, the Farmington Valley VNA has supported the health and wellness needs of Farmington Valley residents by offering in-home skilled nursing care, rehabilitation and therapies, health supervision visits, medication management, social work services, chronic disease management programs, and palliative and Hospice care. Our ability to fulfill our 105-year-old charitable mission is enhanced by Hospice volunteers who provide companionship for Hospice clients and respite for families, create bereavement baskets, deliver memorial candles to funeral homes, and assist with fundraising projects.

The Farmington Valley VNA will be hosting an informal, no-obligation Volunteer Information Session on Tuesday, April 29th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at 8 Old Mill Lane in Simsbury. Please join us to learn how your time and talents can make a difference in the lives of clients and families receiving comfort and care through our Hospice program.

Please call 860.651.3539 for more information about our diverse volunteer opportunities.
