Natural Remedies for Common Ailments: An Ayurveda Lecture by Dr. Marc Edwards

On Tuesday, April 15, 2014, the Farmington Libraries welcome Dr. Marc Edwards back for a fourth bonus session on Ayurveda. This event will take place at the Farmington Main Library at 6 Monteith Drive at 7:00 p.m.

Ayurveda gives timeless and profound knowledge of how to optimize health and longevity. It explains our individual differences and how to harmonize with them to maintain balance, improve vitality, and resist disease through choices of diet and lifestyle. In this session, Dr. Marc Edwards will share the natural remedies found in Ayurvedic practice to help treat common ailments such as allergies, colds, indigestion, hormonal changes, and arthritis.

Marc Edwards is a retired family physician from West Hartford who has studied and practiced Ayurveda for over 25 years.  He lectures frequently on Ayurveda throughout the region to make this priceless knowledge for better self-care more widely available.
