Rails-to-Trails Expansion Informational Meeting

The State of Connecticut and the Town of Farmington are beginning plans for an expansion of the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail, from Red Oak Hill Rd to the Plainville Townline.  This project will include a pedestrian/bicycle bridge over Route 6, negating the
need for a crosswalk over that busy highway.

This meeting will provide you with the latest plans for trail location as well as a general timeframe.  The next steps will be discussed.  There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
