The annual Scouting For Food campaign is here once again. This is a joint effort of Boy Scout Troops 170 and 68, Cub Scout Packs 37 and 170, and the Farmington Girl Scouts. All the scouts pick up donated food items from throughout Farmington and deliver the bags to the Farmington Food Pantry.
On Saturday, November 2nd scouts will go door to door dropping off food collection bags. On the following Saturday, November 9th, scouts will go door to door to pick up donated food. Any and all nonperishable food items are welcome. Last year the scouts collected over 10,000 pounds of food! Thanks to the generosity of the community this is the largest food drive of the year.
