The Mystery of Mary Barnes

Release your inner thespian!

On January 25, 1663, Mary Barnes of Farmington was executed for witchcraft, having been convicted of acting "in a preternatural way."  Much about Barnes' personal history and her witchcraft trial remain a mystery, despite years of research. Her story will come to life in a play in which members of the audience play the roles of her family members, neighbors and possible accusers.  Come ready to act!
