The Story of Mary Barnes

On January 25, 1663, Mary Barnes of Farmington was executed for witchcraft, having been convicted of acting in "a preternatural way." Lisa Johnson, Executive Director of Stanley-Whitman House, will tell Barnes' story in the context of the time, culture and people of 17th-century Connecticut.  Admission is $3 a person.
