Todd Litchfield - Democrat for Town Planning and Zoning

My name is Todd Litchfield and I am currently serving as your elected Planning and Zoning Commission Alternate.  Over the last four years, I have had the pleasure of serving the town in this capacity.  The experience has further strengthened my ability and desire to serve the residents of Farmington as a Planning & Zoning Commissioner.  I ask you now for your vote for a full seat on the Planning and Zoning Commission.

The town of Farmington has been my home for nearly 20 years.  My wife Rachel Abrecht-Litchfield and I have a 19 month old son.  We are both volunteer firefighters and I am currently serving as the Rescue Captain for Tunxis Hose Company No. 1.  I am a Communications Dispatcher for the town of Farmington’s Police and Fire Departments.  As a Plan and Zoning Commissioner, we are tasked with “guiding the physical growth of the community with due regard to the public's health, safety and welfare.”  My unique combination of public service and dedication to the town serves me well to fulfill the obligations of the position with the best interests of the residents and businesses of Farmington.

As a long time resident, a volunteer, employee, and parent, I have a vested interest in the responsible growth of our community while preserving the character and charm that draws many of us to call it home.  Please come out to vote on November 5th.   Your local elected officials stand to make decisions that directly impact your day to day quality of life in our community.  We need responsible and dedicated local representatives with the community’s best interest at heart.  I am that candidate and I would appreciate your support for Planning and Zoning Commissioner.
