Farmington Land Trust to host an Artists Reception May 9th for 30 Local Artists Exhibiting in 'for the love of the land...'

The Farmington Land Trust will host an opening for their first art exhibit, ‘for the love of the land…’, on Thursday, May 9th, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The exhibit will feature 30 area artists.  The exhibit and opening will be held at the Community Room Gallery , the Farmington Main Library, 6 Monteith Drive in Farmington. This event is free and open to the public.
The list of distinguished area artists includes: Gay Ayres, Annette Boisture Baser, Melody Bernhardt, Roderick Brown, Sarah Prentis Brown, Betsy Carnes, Augustine Cofrancesco, Ross Delano, Andrea Donald, Terry Donsen Feder, Betty Friedman, Elizabeth Gaudet, Susan Hight, Polly Hincks, Shawn Hoar, Beth King, Cheryl Lawless, Gary Melnysen, Bill Novoa, Anne Ritchie, Suzan Scott, Chris Shivery, Pia Sjolin, Clare Smith, Avis Turner, Kathy Wadsworth, Sarah Wadsworth, Alden Warner, Thomas Zaccheo and Angham Zakko.
A portion of all sales will benefit the Land Trust's work in preserving and protecting the open space parcels they maintain and care for in Farmington.
