FHS Runners Compete at Winding Trails Invitational

The Farmington High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams competed at the 2nd Winding Trails Invitational held on Saturday 9/28/2013.

Farmington Senior Matt Chisholm won the Boys Large School Varsity race with a time of 16:23 and teammate Palmer Weimann, a Junior, finished second at 16:32.  Other varsity runners Edward Tomasso (22nd), Zach Ruh (23rd), Joe Siuta (37th), Satchell Moll (38th), and Alex Vetre (39th) rounded out the scoring for FHS.  The Farmington Boys varsity team claimed the 3rd place trophy, following New Milford and Newtown.

The FHS Varsity Girls Team was paced by Junior Kaeli Baker (9th at 22:21), Emily Williams (17th at 23:46), and Kayla Cunnigham (18th at 24:27).  Varsity runners Rachelle Sanders and Morgan Lewis also turned in strong performances for the Indians.
