FARMINGTON LAND TRUST IS RECIPIENT OF FARMINGTON UNICO GRANT The Farmington Land Trust was recently awarded a $300 grant from The Farmington Chapter of UNICO to help allay CCSU biology students’ out-of-pocket expenses incurred in performing research and volunteer work on Land Trusts parcels. Continued public financial support of UNICO sponsored events enables UNICO to annually award grants to non-profit organizations and scholarships to college bound high school seniors. The accompanying photo shows Farmington UNICO President Frank Dolce (center) prior to presenting the check to Farmington Land Trust President Doug Pelham while educational coordinator Dr. Barbara Nicholson of the CCSU Biology Department looks on.
