Passion and expertise are the key ingredients for a fun filled,
fast-paced culinary showdown at the Tunxis Plantation Country Club.  Hosted by Rachel Lutzker (Fox 61 news) and Cory
Myers (Country 92.5 Morning show host)
, guests watch three teams comprised of a
celebrity chef, local celebrities and executive sponsors compete against each
other as they prepare two dishes using a basket of mystery ingredients, some of
which come from the Gifts of Love food pantry.  All of this will be
accomplished in a matter of forty-five minutes!  Judges including  Chef Kevin Cottle of Jordan's Catering, Eric
Bush, Director of Wines, Fleming's Prime Steak and Wine Bar, and two others
will taste, critique and ultimately award one team the title of Gifts of Love
"Top Chef!"
Guests attending the event will have the
opportunity to win a spot working side by side with their favorite chefs.

Returning chef and last year's winner Van Hurd of
Jordan Catering will be cooking up a storm.  Matt Cormier of The Meat
House will give his culinary skills a whirl along with Scott Miller of Max
Oyster Bar will be competing in this year’s event.

Neighborhood Butcher" and Community Farm of Simsbury and many local
businesses in the Farmington Valley.
