Help Farmington Resident Repair Schools in Jamaica

Allison Monique needs your help. She's looking to work with children in Jamaica as part of an alternative spring break visit and is raising funds for the trip.

In January, Farmington resident Allison Monique is traveling to Negril, Jamaica as part of the Global Service Initiative Program. She’s raising money for the trip via the GoFundMe website.

“In Jamaica, I will be working with children at two local schools, and helping to repaint and repair the schools as needed,” she writes on her GoFundMe page. “This trip is costly, and I will be paying for it on my own. Therefore, if you could contribute any amount, I would sincerely appreciate it!”

As of Dec. 11, Monique has raised $585 out of her $1,500 goal. To donate money to her project, visit her GoFundMe page.
