Support Farmington Women in 200-Mile Ride Against Cancer
Three Farmington women are riding nearly 200 miles to raise funds for cancer research and treatment.
Farmington Residents Jennifer Hogan, Brigit Hogan and Bonny Lynch will be riding in the 2013 Pan Mass Challenge. This two-day, nearly 200-mile bike ride across Massachusetts raises funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
The three riders must raise $4,300 each, but have made a personal goal to raise $20,000.
On Thursday, June 13, Friendly’s Restaurant in Unionville will lend its support to their cause by hosting a fundraiser. Twenty percent of proceeds all day long will be donated to PMC/The Jimmy Fund. Customers must present a voucher.
