Friends of the Farmington Library Announce their Fall Book Sales

 The Friends are excited to announce their fall book sales! There will be books, bargains and treasures for everyone!

   October 13 9-2:30 Kids & Cookbooks’. This sale will feature our largest collection of children’s books (for all ages, infant to teen) and finest cookbooks that we have ever sold at this fall sale. We will also include CD’s, DVD’s, Books on CD, puzzles, children’s holiday books, adult trade paperbacks (fiction), greeting cards plus a large collection in Chinese of books, CD’s & DVD’s.

   November 17 9-2:30 “Nearly New & Older Treasures” This sale, as always, will include a wonderful collection of like-new books suitable for holiday gift-giving. And, because of some terrific donations this year, will also include current hardcover fiction & non-fiction, large print books, holiday books, gift books and greeting cards, CD’s, DVD’s & puzzles for adults and children. New to this sale with be a large collection of LP record albums & vintage books. Also we will have 2 special collections of books on aircraft (including WWI & WWII) and art techniques.

   These sales are an excellent opportunity to stock up with ‘winter reads’ and holiday gifts. We especially welcome parents and teachers to come in to their resupply and update their home and school libraries!

   Purchases must be by cash or check.

   If you are unable to come to these sales, our Book Nook (located in the hallway to the right of the circulation desk) is well-stocked with books for all ages & interest levels including current hard cover fiction, children’s books and seasonably appropriate materials at very reasonable prices.

   The Friends also welcome book donations throughout the year. We do not accept magazines, textbooks or musty & mildewed books. Tax donation letters are available upon request.

A book themed quilt made by the Friends will be on display, to be raffled at the November book sale.
