Halloween Candy Buyback in Farmington

All Hallow's Eve is behind us but the candy may remain for much longer! Here's info on how to offload extra candy for a cause on Friday, Nov. 1.

From 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, you can bring extra Halloween candy to  Farmington Village Dental, 320 Main St.

The donated candy will benefit Operation Gratitude and will be sent to troops serving overseas. All candy donations are welcome, including leftover candy not handed out.

"We'll accept candy all day but the official time is 3 to 6 p.m.," staff said on the Farmington Village Dental Facebook page. "And don't forget that our outdoor movie starts at dusk (weather permitting). We'll be showing "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and some short cartoons like Casper the Ghost and Scooby Doo."
