For many Dunkin' Donuts regulars, the return of certain seasonal menu items can be a sure-fire sign that spring has arrived.

But this year there will be a new addition to the popular chain's menu - Easter-themed PEEPS Doughnuts.

BuzzFeed Food is reporting that Stan Frankenthaler, Dunkin Donuts’ executive chef and VP of “product innovation” for their brands confirmed that the new PEEPS donut will be available at participating stores for a limited time starting on Monday, March 31.

You can see an image of the PEEP doughnut above, which posted to this Buzzfeed report.

So - we have to ask: would you get in line to try out the PEEPS doughnut?

Jane- these local papers are struggling to stay afloat. They have no budgets to pay reporters, so they run a lot of wire story stuff. If you'd like to volunteer to write local stories pro bono, I'm sure they would gladly accept your offer.

Dunkin , doesn't impress me , sure I prefer their coffee at times . Their donuts suck , small, stale , the sandwiches are artificial tasting .prefab garbage .... Where can you find a good bakery anymore , you can't ...Box store bakery forget it , they can,t compare to what was Helen's or Ortone's...

Silent Wolf, you can go to D'Orazio Sisters bakery in Newtown; everything is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced.
