At first, I thought it was too early to share info on where you can cut your own Christmas trees in Connecticut. But then, I read a Facebook post from a Shelton farm that said people are already asking when tree cutting begins!
Then friends started making holiday playlists and talking about eggnog … it appears people are already hankering for the holidays — or at the very least, preparing for them! Here’s your list of Christmas tree farms in Hartford County.
Burlington

East Windsor
- Old Orchard Farm
- Opening Date: The weekend before Thanksgiving
- Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Weekdays by appointment.
- Red Hill Christmas Tree Farm
- Opening Date: Thanksgiving
- Hours: 9 a.m. until dark
