CoventryFest: Come join the fun on Saturday, June 28th, 2014 at this year’s annual CoventryFest, held on Coventry Lake at Patriot’s Park! The family-oriented event begins at 3:00 pm and includes food, games, rides, music, crafters, and other vendors. Beginning after sundown we will celebrate our nation’s birth with a spectacular fireworks display over Coventry Lake! Admission is free; however, donations are accepted.

Hebron's BOOM: Independence Day Picnic and Fireworks: Bring your family to Hebron to enjoy an evening picnic followed by a fantastic fireworks display beginning at 9:30 pm.  The Gates open at 4 pm.  Pre-sale tickets for the Fall Harvest Festival will be available. 347 Gilead Street; Hebron, CT 06248

Trumbull Day 2014

In keeping with tradition, the Trumbull Day Commission has selected the fields behind Trumbull High School (72 Strobel Road) and Hillcrest Middle School as the site for Trumbull Day 2014. The event will open with the fun and amusements of carnival rides and games; a spectacular fireworks display will close the evening. The main stage will feature a variety of live musical acts, and each of the bands has a close tie to Trumbull. There will also be several food vendors, a wine & beer tent, arts & crafts vendors, and a lively children’s entertainment area.

Naugatuck's 2014 Fireworks Celebration: This year’s celebration will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 3th on Old Firehouse Road, downtown Naugatuck, and will include entertainment, food, and a variety of family oriented activities. The evening will be culminated by a giant fireworks display at 9:15 P.M. Rain date is Saturday, July 5, 2014.

Simsbury: Celebrate America – The Annual Red, White & Blue Tradition : The Hartford Symphony Orchestra presents it's annual patriotic and fun concert at Simsbury Meadows as part of their Talcott Mountain Music Festival. A wonderful fireworks display will be help following the concert.  The concert begins at 7:30 pm.

Town of Killingly.   Red, White and Blue BBQ and FireworksOwen Bell Park in Dayville Fireworks will go offapproximately 9:15pm (weather permitting). Music and Fireworks are FREE!!!

West Haven-  Independence Day Fireworks Show-Thursday July 3rd  7-9:30pmThe largest Independence Day fireworks show off Bradley Point. Before the 20-minute display, enjoy music of The Navels at the Savin Rock bandstand from 7–9 p.m

Litchfield Historical Society's Pet Parade and Turn of the Century Festival: Enjoy an ice cream social, old-fashioned lawn games, egg and spoon races, tug of war, sunflower seed spitting contest, and three-legged races. Pets must be either on a leash or in cage (where applicable) and come with a rabies certificate. 12:15 - 4:30 pm

Madison: Fireworks Friday, July 4, 2014 @ 9:30pm  (Rain Date Sunday, July 6 @ 9:30pm). The fireworks are visible from many waterfront areas in Madison.  The main public viewing locations are from Surf Club Park, East Wharf Beach and West Wharf Beach.  Parking will be very limited at parks and beaches, on public streets, and in all waterfront viewing areas.  Please obey all Madison Police Department signs and instructions for parking.  Use of the free shuttle bus service is encouraged.

Middlebury's Quassy Amusement Park: Special "3-D" fireworks presentation after dark to benefit Prevent Blindness Tri-State. Viewing glasses will be sold for $1. Parking $7 on July 4th.

Independence Day Celebration at Mystic Seaport: Celebrate America's birthday circa 1876. Picnic alongside your 19th-century neighbors on the Village Green at noon, and cheer for your favorite display in the Independence Day Parade at 1 p.m. Small patriots can craft hats to wear in their very own section of the parade. A rousing 1877 Independence Day ceremony is followed by an elegant concert featuring the Mystic Silver Cornet Band. 9 - 5 pm

New Britain's Great American Boom!: Head to Stanley Quarter Park to celebrate the 4th of July at the Great American Boom! There will be giant trampolines, carnival games, interactive inflatables, pony rides, micro derby car races, and MORE! Fireworks begin at 9:15.

New Canaan This year’s New Canaan July 4th celebration will be held on Friday, July 4th at Waveny Park from 5-10pm

Willimantic Boom Box Parade: The 29th Annual W.I.L.I. "Boom BoxParade" starts on July 4th, at 11:00 a.m at Jillson Square (corner of Main and Jackson Streets). Enjoy Connecticut's unique people's parade with no "real" bands only marchers and spectators who bring radios and play them while local radio station broadcasts the marching band music.

Ellington Farmers Market Patriotic Hat Contest: Bring your family to the Ellington Farmers Market for fresh food, amazing products, entertainment, demonstrations and more! It'll be a spectacular day in the great outdoors for you and your kids! From 9 - 12.

Manchester's Independence Day Celebration: Manchester's Independence Day Celebration will be held at Manchester Community College. The scheduled rain date is Sunday, July 6 (call 860-647-3162 for rain delay update). The spectacular, all-aerial fireworks display begins at 9:30 p.m.
