Kevin C. Leahy, CFP®, CIMA®, CPA, CEO and Founder of Connecticut Wealth Management, LLC, was recently named a board member for the Rushford Center, one of the state’s leading providers of addiction and mental health treatment programs for children, teens and adults. Leahy will also serve on the organizations Quality and Credentialing Committee.
Founded in 1975 as the Tri-County Alcohol Council, Rushford has worked with thousands of individuals to rebuild their lives and create positive pathways to the future. In addition to the comprehensive treatment programs the center offers, Rushford is committed to prevention programs that are rooted in positive youth development principles. In total, more than 15,000 individuals and families use the resources and services of Rushford each year.

The agency is named for the late Gus Rushford, a Portland resident and recovering alcoholic who worked for more than three decades helping others in recovery and who was committed to high quality, community-based programs. The Rushford Center’s board is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the organization, appointing the President and Chief Executive Officer, overseeing financial and operational performance and safeguarding the assets of the organization.
