Nadine N. Bohannan, 91, of Unionville, widow of the late Robert E. Bohannan, died May 12, 2014.
Born in Millinocket, Maine, on Aug. 19, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Edmund Nadeau and Cecile (Thibodeau) Nadeau.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Sangster and her husband, John R. Sangster of Torrington; her son, Robert E. Bohannan and his wife, Linda M. Bohannan of Unionville; her brother and sisters, Ronald Nadeau, Anita Blaisdell, and Annette Nadeau, all of Maine, and her brother, Robert Nadeau of Florida. She also leaves her four grandchildren; Ryan Sangster and his wife Melissa, David Sangster and his wife Lisa, Jessica DiCicco and her husband Paul, and Patrick J. Bohannan, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her nine brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rte. 4, Unionville, Ct on Friday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Friday at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Main St, Unionville at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Avon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
