OVER $20,000 RAISED AT CONNECTICUT HUMANE SOCIETY’S FAUX FUR BALL FUNDRAISING DINNER

NEWINGTON, Conn. (April 10, 2014) – The Connecticut Humane Society is excited to announce that this year’s Faux Fur Ball raised over $20,000 in support of programs and services for people and pets. Over 180 pet lovers attended this fun dinner which included over $20,000 in raffle and auction prizes including resort stays from Elite Island Resorts and Custom Evocateur Jewelry from Lux Bond & Green, buffet, dancing and more.

Special thanks to our Guest Emcee Stephanie Mattera, Ms. Connecticut United States 2014 and Spokesperson for the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals.

This annual fundraising event is part of the Connecticut Humane Society’s Signature Events Series, which also includes the Central CT Pet Fair, Dog Walk & 5K (June 28 Hubbard Park Meriden) and the Gala Auction in the Autumn.
