19-Year-Old Charged After Alleged Relationship With Minor

Arrests for July 28

Guy Patrick Castonguay, 19, of 17 Trotters Glen Road, turned himself in on a warrant July 26 and was charged with risk of injury to a minor and second-degree sexual assault. He is accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor. According to police, the victim was Castonguay’s girlfriend but she was below the statutory age limit of 15 years old or younger. After his first court appearance, he was released on a written promise to appear Aug. 16, 2011.

Jesus Manuel Andino, 22, of 42 Olive St., New Britain, turned himself in on a warrant July 26 and was charged with disorderly conduct and fourth-degree sexual assault. According to police, Andino is accused of groping a coworker in May. After his first court appearance, he was released on a written promise to appear Aug. 24, 2011.

Nicholas Orourke Hutton, 23, of 200 East St., Southington, was arrested July 27 on Farmington Avenue and charged with failure to keep a narcotic in its original container, failure to drive right, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of narcotics. According to arrest reports, Hutton was found with marijuana, K2 and Suboxone during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 8, 2011.

Charitza Mercado, 24, of 31 Annawon St., Hartford, was arrested July 26 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a written promise to appear Aug. 3, 2011.

Jayson Goralski, 28, of 7 Boardman St., Bristol, was arrested July 21 by warrant and charged with second-degree failure to appear. He was released on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 18, 2011.
