A Few New Year's DUI Arrests

James Peterson, 28, of 210 Farmington Ave., Hartford, was arrested Jan. 1 just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Route 6 and Interstate 84. He was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, following too closely and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 11, 2012.
Scott Michael Rishar, 37, of 367 Burritt St., New Britain, was arrested Jan. 1 just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Lenola Drive. He was charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 11, 2012.
John Chabot, 69, of 85 Hutchinson Parkway, Litchfield, was arrested Jan. 1 at 2:01 a.m. at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and South Main Street and charged with failure to have headlights lit and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 11, 2012.

Christina Duplin, 22, of 49 Trinity St., New Britain, was arrested Dec. 31 around 5 p.m. at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 11, 2012.
Gerald Mills, 59, of 9 River Road, Unionville, was arrested at the intersection of Main and School streets Dec. 31 just before 1 a.m. He was charged with left-turn violation: failure to grant right of way to oncoming traffic and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 11, 2012.
