Alcohol at Tunxis Mead, Interfering with 911 Call Among Weekend Charges

Colby A Codraro, 18, of 30 Elm Road, Cromwell, was arrested July 8 at Tunxis Mead Park and charged with interfering with an officer and possession of alcohol by a minor. According to police, Codraro lied to police about her identity and was found to have alcohol on town property. She was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 18, 2012.

Robert William Nordgren, 29, of 38 Rio Road, Burlington, was arrested July 8 at the intersection of Mill and Platner Streets and charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening and interfering with a 911 call. According to police, Nordgren is accused of assaulting his girlfriend during a domestic dispute. He was held on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear July 9, 2012.

Kenneth Pawlina, 49, of 888 Worthington Ridge, Berlin, was arrested July 7 on Meadow Road and charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 18, 2012.

Chavi Cooks, 26, of 230 Woodlawn Circle, East Hartford, was arrested July 7 at Westfarms mall and was charged with sixth-degree larceny. Cook was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 18, 2012.

Anthony Buono, 29, of 44 Lido Road, Unionville, was arrested July 7 at home and was charged with third-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and first-degree unlawful restraint. According to police, Buono is accused of assaulting his wife during a domestic dispute. He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 9, 2012.

Whitney Ciara Gostyla, 26, of 29 Wellington Drive, was arrested July 7 at the intersection of Main Street and Mill Lane and charged with making an improper turn and operating under the influence. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 18, 2012.

Chelsey Huff, 19, of 100 Kane St., West Hartford, was arrested July 6 at Westfarms mall and charged with first-degree criminal trespassing, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. According to police, Huff was shoplifting at Lord & Taylor after being previously warned not to return to the store. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 18, 2012.

Robert Jay Mitchell, 36, of 33 Acorn Lane, Bristol, was arrested July 6 at the intersection of Scott Swamp Road and Colt Highway and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotics. According to police, Mitchell had heroin and related paraphernalia with him and was driving erratically. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 17, 2012.
