Citizens Report Drug Sales at Industrial Park

Arrests for April 18

Shawn Meehan, 24, of 61 Lincoln St., Bristol, was arrested April 15 on Spring Lane, where police said he had been selling marijuana. Police received reports from concerned citizens who observed activity in the industrial park, police said. Police followed up with an investigation and an arrest. Meehan was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to wear a seat belt, illegal distribution of a controlled substance and possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana. He was released on $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear April 26, 2011.

Mark Power, 41, of 166 Plainville Ave., was arrested by warrant April 12 at the police station. He was charged with risk of injury to a minor and fourth-degree sexual assault after a 2010 investigation. The victim in the case was a 12-year-old girl known to Power. He was held on $25,000 surety bond for an April 13 court appearance.

Daniel Ciccolella, 39, of 25 Everett St., New Britain, was arrested April 17 on Plainville Avenue and charged with failure to obey a control sign, operating under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear April 27, 2011.

Zachary Joseph Martinelli, 23, of 676 Daly Road, Coventry, was arrested April 17 at 166 Plainville Ave. and charged with operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear April 27, 2011.

Ernest Turner, 22, of 19 Bushnell St., Hartford, was arrested April 16 at Westfarms mall and charge with fourth-degree larceny. He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear April 26, 2011.

Terrance Copeland, 36, of 502 Cooke St., was arrested by warrant at home April and charged with violation of probation. He was released on $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear April 29, 2011.

Antonio Medina, 20, of 80 School St., East Hartford, was arrested April 16 on Scott Swamp Road and charged with failure to drive in proper lane, operating under the influence under the age of 21 and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear April 27, 2011.

Brennan Taylor, 25, of 3 Meadow Lane, Manchester, was arrested April 16 at the intersection of Main Street and Farmstead Lane and charged with failure to drive right, operating under the influence and possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana. Taylor was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear April 26, 2011.

Jose Diaz, 48, of 1736 Farmington Ave., was arrested April 15 at 1799 Farmington Ave. and charged with second-degree breach of peace during a domestic incident. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear April 18, 2011.

Trisson Munroe, 21, of 35 Kent St., Hartford, was arrested April 15 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was held on $100 surety bond and scheduled to appear April 20, 2011.
