Click-It or Ticket Begins Today in Farmington

Police will focus on Fienemann Road but enforcement will be increased around town.

As the holiday season approaches members of the Farmington Police Department are focusing their efforts on increasing safe driving awareness in order to help reduce motor vehicle collisions and the injuries suffered from not wearing seatbelts.

Police want to remind the public of the three basic rules of highway safety:

  • Always Buckle Up,
  • Obey Posted Speed Limits and Traffic Laws,
  • Never Drink and Drive.

Beginning Nov. 14 through Nov. 27, officers will step up the enforcement of safety belt, child safety seat, speeding, and DUI laws by way of a highly visible, Click it or Ticket campaign.
