Farmington Child Pornography Possession Suspect to Appear in Court Tuesday

A Farmington man who police arrested on child pornography possession charges in early October is scheduled to be arraigned in Hartford Superior Court on Tuesday. 

Karol Hernas, 65, is facing charges of promoting a minor in an obscene performance and first-degree illegal possession of child pornography in connection to 2010 incidents, according to the state judicial website.

Farmington police  arrested him on Oct. 1 and released him on a $25,000 non-surety bond. 

The Hartford Courant reported that Hernas was one of three men charged early October in three separate Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes investigations.
