Farmington Police Blotter: April 24-30, 2013

Breach of Peace

Dylan Carmine Parady, 19, of 14 Oakland Ave., Farmington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on April 24 at 10:50 a.m. Police arrested him in his home after a domestic disturbance. Police released him on a $2,500 non-surety bond and he was scheduled to appear in court the following day. 

Larceny

Racheem Hackeem Miller, 23, of 53 East Burnham St., Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 25 at 9:55 p.m. Police said that he is accused of "assaulting a JC Penney loss prevention employee" at the Westfarms Mall in Farmington on Feb. 21 "while shoplifting." Police served the arrest warrant and Miller was released after posting a $2,500 surety bond. 

DUI

Richard D. Bilodeau, 37, of 114 Harrison Rd., New Hartford, was charged with operation while under the influence and having weapons in a motor vehicle without a permit on April 28 at 2:35 p.m. Police said that he is accused of "colliding with vehicles" in a parking lot and then "leaving the scene." Officers stopped him after the report, which led to the DUI charge, arresting him on Collinsville Road. Bilodeau was also cited with failure to drive right and two counts of evading responsibility split between two cases. He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 7. 

Possession of Narcotics

Alyssa M. Dmytruk, 22, of 100 Paul Spring Road, Farmington, was charged with having drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotics on April 27 at 11:49 p.m. Police found drug paraphernalia and heroin in her possession while investigating a domestic disturbance incident. Police released her on a written promise to appear in court on May 7. 

Operation While Under the Influence

Rocky Torres, 27, of 138 Mallard Dr. in Avon, was charged with operation while under the influence on April 30 at 1:55 p.m. Police stopped him on Waterville Road in Farmington and also cited him with failure to keep right on a curve or hill, failure to drive right and operation while under suspension. He was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on May 8. 

Strangulation

Travis M. LaPage, 30, of 392 Scott Swamp Rd., Apt. A, Farmington, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree strangulation and second-degree threatening on April 29 at 12:13 p.m. Police arrested him in his home after he was accused of assaulting a woman and threatening to kill her and her children. He was held on a $1 million bond and was scheduled to appear in court on April 30.
