Farmington Police Blotter: Aug. 13-14, 2013

The following information was provided by the Farmington Police Department and does not indicate convictions.

Operation While Under the Influence

Bohdan Eligiusz Prybyla, 48, of 9 Maplewood Rd., Farmington, was charged with operation while under the influence on Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. He was also cited with traveling unreasonably fast and failure to drive right, both infractions. Police arrested him on a warrant and released him after he posted a $15,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 21. 

Larceny

Nariandat Roopnarine, 25, of 413 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Aug. 13 at 12:26 p.m after a shoplifting incident at H&M  in the Westfarms Mall. . Police issued him a $1,500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 21. 

Steven White, 44, of 19 Jefferson Circle, Clinton, was charged with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny on Aug. 13 at 9:30 a.m. after a shoplifting incident at JC Penney in the Westfarms Mall. . Police held him on a $10,000 surety bond and he was scheduled to appear in court that day.

Nigel Garcia, 21, of 216 School St., Manchester, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and illegal manufacturing, distribution or sale of canibus or a controlled substance on Aug. 14 at 9:15 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at Lord & Taylor in the Westfarms Mall. He was also cited with first offense of possession of under a half ounce of marijuana, an infraction. Police released him after he posted a $130 cash bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 20.
