Farmington Police Blotter: Aug. 19-21, 2013

The following information was provided by the Farmington Police Department and does not indicate convictions.

Operation While Under the Influence

Bruce Gilbert Wilson, 63, of 14 Hunters Ridge 7, Unionville, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with following too close on Aug. 19 at 8:32 p.m. after a minor motor vehicle accident. Police released him after he posted a $2,500 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 19. 

Bliss Dasilva, 25, of 15 Sunnybrook Dr., Newington, was charged with operation while under the influence on Aug. 19 at 5:59 p.m. Police arrested her at the Farmington Avenue/Pilgrim Path intersection after a motor vehicle stop and released her after she posted a $1,500 non-surety bond. Dasilva is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28. 

Shiraz Malik, 35, of 1233 Stafford Ave., Bristol, was charged with operation while under the influence on Aug. 21 at 1:27 a.m. and cited with failure to have tail lamps. Police arrested him near the intersection between Morea Road and Cope Farms Road after a motor vehicle stop and issued him a $1,500 non-surety bond. 

Larceny

Niyah Tatiana Young, 19, of 76 Smith Dr., of East Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny on Aug. 19 at 8:12 p.m. on a warrant for a shoplifting incident at the Westfarms Mall in Farmington. Police released her after she posted a $2,500 surety bond and she is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28. 

Carlos Ariel Burgos, 19, of 851 Bark St., Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny on Aug. 20 at 6:05 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at JC Penney in the Westfarms Mall. He was issued a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28. 

Kenneth Rodriguez, 20, of 100 Benton St., Hartford, was arrested in the same shoplifting case and faces identical charges. He was issued a $1,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28. 

Jeremiah R. Nonamaker, 44, of 130 Clematis Ave., Waterbury, was charged with sixth degree larceny on Aug. 20 at 5:49 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at the Unionville Stop & Shop, police said. Police issued him a $1,500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28.
