Farmington Police Blotter: Aug. 24-25, 2013

Operation While Under the Influence

Randall D. Smith, 51, of 5 Overlook Ln., Southington, was charged with operation under the influence after police stopped his car on the Town Hall campus on Aug. 25 at 12:18 a.m. Police issued him a $1,500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 4.

Nima Gholampour, 26, of 38 Forest Hills Drive, Farmington, was charged with operation while under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 24 at 2:28 a.m. after stopping her car near the intersection of Route 10 and Farmstead Lane. Police also cited her with failure to keep right on a curve or hill, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana, and restricted turns fail signal. Police issued her a $1,500 non-surety bond and she is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 4.
