Farmington Police Blotter: Aug. 4-6, 2013

The following information was provided by Farmington police and does not indicate convictions.

Operation While Under the Influence

Francis O’Brien, 50, of Easton, was charged with operation while under the influence on Aug. 4 at 11:59 p.m. Police arrested him at 242 Colt Highway after a motor vehicle stop and he was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14.

Breach of Peace

Andrew S. Garfinkel, 49, of 186 Main St., Unionville was charged with second-degree breach of peace, fifth-degree larceny and operating under a suspended license. Police responded to a domestic incident after reports that Garfinkel slapped his girlfriend and took her keys and purse, police said. Police arrested him at the Westfarms Mall and later released him on a $5,000 non-surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 5.

Anthony William Dangelo, 42, of 8 Laurel Ln., Farmington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief on Aug. 6 at 10:19 p.m. Police arrested him at 101 Wellington Dr. “after an altercation at the Wellington Apartment Complex,” police said. He was released after posting a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14.

Larceny

Joshua Emmanuel, 23, of 1853 Putnam Ave., Apt. 1L, Ridgewood, NY, was charged with fifth-degree larceny on Aug. 5 at 5:30 p.m. He turned himself into police on an outstanding arrest warrant and was released after posting a $2,500 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14.

Erin Keavany, 19, of 112 S. Lonyard Rd., Southwick, MA, was also arrested in the shoplifting case and faces identical charges. She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14.

Both were released on $500 non-surety bonds.
