Farmington Police Blotter: Dec. 18 and 19, 2013

Failure to Appear

Anthony Certo, 29, of 1485 Farmington Ave., Apt. 6, Farmington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Dec. 18 at 11:48 p.m. Police held him on a cash bond and he was scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 19. 

Larceny

Matthew Markeveys, 35, of 218 Oak Ave., Torrington, was charged with fifth-degree larceny on Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. Police held him on a bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 18. 

Jason Miller, 25, of 15 Hardwood Rd., Plainville, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. Police held him on a bond. He was scheduled to appear in court that day. 

Ivonna Lee Gigueroa, 20, of 17 Cannon Rd., East Hartford, and Valerie Victoria Roman, 20, of 32 Daniel St., 1st Floor, East Hartford, were charged with sixth-degree larceny on Dec. 19 at 8:03 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at the Westfarms Mall. Police released them on a $1,500 non-surety bond and they are scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8. 

Jayne Talbot, 45, of 532 East Mountain Rd., Westfield, MA, and Andrew L. Woods, 40, of 140 Bowles St., Springfield, were charged with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny on Dec. 19 at 5:35 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at Lord & Taylor at the Westfarms Mall. Woods was also cited with possession of less than one half ounce of marijuana. Talbot was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8. Woods was held on a $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 20. 

Troyana Monay Holmes, 18, of 70 Imperial Dr. Manchester, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Dec. 19 at 4:37 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at H&M in the Westfarms Mall. Police released her after she posted a $250 non-surety bond and she is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8. 

Failure to Respond

Nicholas G. Chisholm, 23, of 42 Wildwood Rd., Farmington, was charged with failure to pay or plead to an infraction on Dec. 19 at 10:35 a.m. on a warrant after a motor vehicle stop at 50 Winding Trails Dr. Police released him on a $150 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 15.  

Evidence Tampering

Andrzej Dyl, 59, of 31 Wood Creek Rd., Burlington, was charged with evidence tampering and evading responsibility on Dec. 18 at 6:30 a.m. and cited with following too close. He turned himself in on a warrant and was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7.
