Farmington Police Blotter: Dec. 20-22, 2013

The following information was provided by the Farmington Police Department and does not indicate convictions.

Strangulation

John Anthony Harrison, 40, of 269 Academy Rd., Cheshire, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, third-degree strangulation and second-degree breach of peace on Dec. 22 at 9:40 p.m. He turned himself in on a warrant and posted a $40,000 surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 23. 

Forgery

Nicole Roxy Munoz, 19, of 40-70 Hampton St., Apt. 7M, Elmhurst, New York, was charged with first-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny and fifth-degree larceny on Dec. 22 at 4:18 a.m. Police arrested her after she used counterfeit money to pay for items at Abercrombie & Fitch, police said. She posted a $10,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7. 

Larceny

Elmer Garcia, 30, of 45 Flatbrush Ave., Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny on Dec. 21 at 7:25 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at Abercrombie & Fitch at the Westfarms Mall. Police released him after he posted a $1,000 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8. 

Breonna Lisa Marie Coley, 20, of 235 Main St., Apt. 2, East Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device on Dec. 21 at 3:52 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at H&M at the Westfarms Mall. She posted a $1,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8. 

Natasha C. Burchell, 27, of 200 Blue Hills Ave., Hartford, was charged with fifth-degree and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny on Dec. 21 at 2:20 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at Lord & Taylor in the Westfarms Mall. Police released her after she posted a $1,500 bond and she is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 28. 

Christopher Leavitt, 43, of 140 Cynthia Dr., Kensington, was charged with sixth-degree on Dec. 20 at 12:57 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at JC Penney in the Westfarms Mall. Police released him after he posted a $1,000 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8. 

Operation While Under the Influence

Gary Sirois, 45, of 88 Carol Dr., Plainville, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with failure to drive right on Dec. 21 at 6:27 p.m. Police stopped his car at Main Street and Lovely Street. He posted a $1,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8. 

Pascquale Morgigno, 24, of 92 Lancaster Way, Cheshire, was charged with operation while under the influence on Dec. 21 at 1:53 a.m. Police stopped his on Farmington Avenue near the West Hartford town line. He was released after he posted a $1,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 8. 

Burglary

Hipolito Rodriguez, 40, of 1260 Boston Ave., Apt. 302, Bridgeport, was charged with first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, three counts of third-degree burglary and three counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary on Dec. 20 at 3 p.m. Bridgeport police took him into custody "on an active Farmington arrest warrant" and Farmington officers took him into custody for processing. He was released after posting a $75,000 surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7.
