Farmington Police Blotter: July 25-29, 2013

The following information was provided by the Farmington Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Violation of Probation
Joshalyn Hypolite, 29, of 83 Meadow St., Bristol, was charged with violation of probation on July 26 at 12:05 a.m. Police held her on a $20,000 surety bond after arresting her on a warrant during a motor vehicle stop on Farmington Avenue. She was scheduled to appear in court later that day. 

Failure to Appear

Mario Biagetti, 23, of 16 Glendale Rd., Enfield, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on July 25 at 6:22 p.m. Police arrested him on a warrant during a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 (Colt Highway) and later released him after he posted a $5,000 surety bond. Biagetti is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 6. 

Credit Card Theft

Jayne Spagnolo, 26, of 1712 Farmington Ave., Unionville, was charged with credit card theft and sixth-degree larceny on July 27 at 9:45 p.m. Police said she was "accused of stealing a wallet from a customer's purse at the Stop & Shop" at 1799 Farmington Ave. She was released on a written promise to appear in court on Aug. 6. 

Operation While Under the Influence

Carol A. Turansky, 56, of 895 Matthews St., Apt. 51, Bristol, was charged with operation while under the influence on July 27 at 7:59 p.m. Police stopped her at 195 Farmington Ave. and issued her a $1,500 non-surety bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 7. 

Larceny

Damlan Thompson, 33, of 91 Huntington St., Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on July 27 at 3:52 p.m. Police said he shoplifted at H&M in the Westfarms Mall. Officers issued him a $1,500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 7. 

Paige Rullo, 18, of 52 Old Farms Rd., New Fairfield, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on July 26 at 5:17 p.m. after police said she shoplifted at Gilly Hicks in the Westfarms Mall. Police issued her a $500 surety bond and she is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 7.
