Providing Alcohol to Minors

Maria Bartolotta, 22, of 6 Springwood Rd., Farmington, was charged with providing alcohol to minors at a party on June 16 at 11:09 p.m. Police arrested her at 50 Winding Trails Dr. Police released her after she posted a $500 non-surety bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 26. 

Maxwell Cohn, 20, of 24 Wildwood Rd., Farmington, was charged with interfering with an officer on June 16 at 11:09 p.m in the same case. Police arrested him at Winding Trails after they said he interfered with the underage drinking investigation. He was released after he posted a $250 non-surety bond. Cohn is scheduled to appear in court on June 26. 

Burglary

Scott Lange, 28, of 17 Parker Farms Rd., Wallingford, was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and manufacturing or possession of burglar's tools on June 15 at 10:57 p.m. Police arrested him at 831 Plainville Ave. in Farmington he was "caught attempting to break into Tunxis Community College property," police said. He was released after posting a $10,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 25. 

Elias Ortiz, 45, of 120 Springdale Ave., Meriden, was issued identical charges in the case. He was also released after posting a $10,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on the same day. 

Disorderly Conduct

Jafar Nazmi, 44, and Ishrat Nazmi, 39, of 34 Lake Garda Dr., Unionville, were charged with disorderly conduct on June 15 at 12:32 p.m. after a domestic disturbance at their home. Police released both individuals after they posted $500 non-surety bonds. They were both scheduled to appear in court on June 17.

Operation While Under the Influence

Thomas R. Devito, 40, of 99 Rhodes St., New Britain, was charged with operation while under the influence on June 15 at 1:39 a.m. Police also cited him with failure to drive in the proper lane after stopping him at 1387 Farmington Ave. He was released after posting a $1,500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in court on June 26.
