Farmington Police Blotter: June 22 - June 23, 2013

The following arrest information was provided by the Farmington Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

June 23

Failure to Appear, Larceny

Jorge Morales-Rodriguez, 38, 597 Broad St., Apt. 4, Hartford, was charged on June 23 with three counts of failure to appear, fifth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device. He is being held on a total of $39,000 bond. Police arrested him at Lord & Taylor in Westfarms mall. 

Melissa Zommer, 21, 16 Johnson Ave., Apt. A, Plainville, was charged on June 23 with following too closely, operation while under the influence and possession of narcotics. Police said she was involved in a motor vehicle accident at Plainville Avenue at Scott Swamp Road. She posted bond of $2,500.

June 22

Operation While Under the Influence

Tara Beth Trigg, 25, 86 Anvil Dr., Avon, was charged with improper use of high beams and operation while under the influence on June 22. Police stopped her at 868 Farmington Avenue. She was released after posting a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Jose Rodriguez, 24, 34 Ellsworth St., Newington, was charged on June 22 with assaulting an acquaintance on May 1 and two counts of failure to appear. He was arrested at 1600 Southeast Road and posted a total of $26,000 bond.

Joao Carara, 53, 53 Deepwood Dr., Avon, was charged on June 22 with failure to drive right and operation while under the influence. He was stopped on Farmington Avenue and was released after posting a $1,500 non-surety bond.
