Farmington Police Blotter: June 28-30, 2013

The following arrest information was provided by the Farmington Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Operation While Under the Influence

Juan Guadalupe, 55, of 73 Burlington Rd., Unionville, was charged with operation while under the influence on June 30 at 1:18 a.m. Police also cited him with failure to drive right after conducting a motor vehicle stop and arrested him on his street. Police released him on a $1,500 non-surety bond. 

Interfering with an Officer

Latisha Chaney, 20, of 33 Dorothy St., Apt. C2 was charged with interfering with an officer and sixth-degree larceny on June 29 at 1:10 p.m. Police said that she lied to an officer about her identity after a shoplifting incident at the WestFarms Mall. Police issued her a $2,500 surety bond and released her to Wethersfield police due to an outstanding arrest warrant. 

Alberto Lopez, 30, of 27 Prince St., Bristol, was charged with interfering with an officer on June 29 at 5:01 a.m. Police arrested him on a warrant and said that he "interfered with an officer's investigation of an accident with injuries and DWI investigation by lying as to who was operating the vehicle involved." He was released after posting a $2,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 10. 

Carrying Dangerous Weapon

Richard Campbell, 43, of 39 Charles St., New Britain, was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon and having weapons in his motor vehicle on June 29 at 2:46 a.m. Police said he was a passenger in a car driven by a person arrested on driving under the influence charges. Police learned that he had brass knuckles in the car while conducting an investigation. He was released after posting a $1,500 surety bond. 

Possession of Narcotics

Robert Lee Israel, 45, of 160 Holabird Ave., Winsted, was charged with operation while under the influence, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana and possession of narcotics. Police also cited him with following too close and failure to drive right after stopping him on Plainville Avenue. Later on, police found a dollar bill with 1.2 grams of cocaine inside and 1.5 grams of marijuana. He was released after posting a $1,500 surety bond.
