Farmington Police Blotter May 1-2, 2013

The following arrest information was provided by the Farmington Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Criminal Mischief

Jonathan Michael Marino, 18, of 149 Oakridge Dr., Unionville, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct on May 1. Police arrested him in his home at 6:06 p.m. after reports that he damaged his parent's car "during a domestic disturbance," police said. He was held on a $5,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in court the next day.

Robbery

Jamal Godbee, 30, of 370 High St., New Britain, was charged with third-degree assault, sixth-degree larceny, possession of a shoplifting device and third-degree robbery on May 1 at 3:17 p.m.. Police arrested him in the Best Buy parking lot after he was accused of "assaulting Lord & Taylor loss prevention employees while they were attempting to stop him from shoplifting." After posting a $1,500 surety bond, police released him. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 7. 

Operation While Under the Influence

Susan Brown, 90 Farmington Chase Dr., Farmington, was charged with operation while under the influence on May 2 at 11:09 p.m. after a motor vehicle stop. Police arrested her at her home and released her on a written promise to appear. She paid a $1,500 fine. Brown is scheduled to appear in court on May 15.
