Operation While Under the Influence

Bill Gramarossa, 54, of 19 Jacobs St., Bristol, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of a license plate, no insurance and operation under suspension on Nov. 13 at 6:45 p.m. He was arrested after a parking lot accident with no injuries. Police held him on a $10,000 surety bond and he was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 14. 

Failure to Appear

The next day, Nov. 14, Gramarossa was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Nov. 14 at 5:45 a.m. Police arrested him on a warrant and held him on a $25,000 surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in court that day.

Larceny

Raul Apachite, 29, of 46 Rockledge Dr., Vernon, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Nov. 14 at 7:15 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at JC Penney at the Westfarms Mall. Police released him after he posted a $1,500 non-surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20. 

Gamalier Santiago, 19, of 28 Arlington St., Meriden, was charged with fifth-degree larceny on Nov. 14 at 2:57 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at JC Penney in the Westfarms Mall. Police released him on a $10,000 non-surety bond and turned him over to Meriden Police who held him on an arrest warrant for another larceny charge. 

Chaya Lein, 42, of 262 Steele Rd., West Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Nov. 14 at 12:16 p.m. She turned herself in on an active arrest warrant and was released after posting a $1,500 surety bond. Lein is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20.
